Swiss muesli is a range of wholesome, hearty mueslis made lovingly in Switzerland. However the range design was busy and its message was muddled. We got started by trying the products and delving into the brand’s past. There we found inspiration for how we could clarify the brand message and better communicate the product benefits to differentiate it in the US market against Alpen, the market leader.
It was clear that the dusty product photography was doing the brand no favours. We created a new photography style which would better reflect the eating occasion and art-directed a photography shoot to ensure we got taste appeal on pack. The image included a spoon to really reflect that moment of morning invigoration. We rationalised the health claims and made them clear & simplified. By looking back into the brand history, we found a genuine Swiss love story which we could tell to consumers to help them fall in love with the brand.
By making subtle but effective enhancements, we were able to create a clean pack with a clear message and strong emotional pull for consumers.
